UTM Capital is the student-led premier investment fund at the University of Toronto, Mississauga overseeing a portfolio of private capital. Founded in 2018, UTMCAP operates as a fundamentals-led organization with the goal of enabling UTM students to gain practical experience in investment research.
UTMCAP is value driven with a multi-year time horizon in all investments we make.
This philosophy has guided us to succeed in bringing value to our investors, whom we are grateful for the trust they have placed in us.
COVERAGE GROUPS
Analysts are placed into a coverage group of their choice where they undergo relevant equity research, honing their finance skills and learning more about a specific industry over time. UTMCAP expanded to six coverage groups from the 2022 / 2023 academic semester onwards.
